Non-divergence Parabolic Equations of Second Order with Critical Drift in Lebesgue Spaces

چکیده
We consider uniformly parabolic equations and inequalities of second order in the non-divergence form with drift −ut + Lu = −ut + ∑ ij aijDiju + ∑ biDiu = 0 (≥ 0, ≤ 0) in some domain Q ⊂ Rn+1. We prove growth theorems and the interior Harnack inequality as the main results. In this paper, we will only assume the drift b is in certain Lebesgue spaces which are critical under the parabolic scaling but not necessarily to be bounded. In the last section, some applications of the interior Harnack inequality are presented. In particular, we show there is a “universal” spectral gap for the associated elliptic operator. The counterpart for uniformly elliptic equations of second order in non-divergence form is shown in [S10].

Non-divergence Parabolic Equations of Second Order with Critical Drift in Morrey Spaces
We consider uniformly parabolic equations and inequalities of second order in the non-divergence form with drift −ut + Lu = −ut + ∑ ij aijDiju + ∑ biDiu = 0 (≥ 0, ≤ 0) in some domain Ω ⊂ Rn+1. We prove a variant of Aleksandrov-BakelmanPucci-Krylov-Tso estimate with Lp norm of the inhomogeneous term for some number p < n+1. Based on it, we derive the growth theorems and the interior Harnack ineq...
متن کاملOn Linear Elliptic and Parabolic Equations with Growing Drift in Sobolev Spaces without Weights
We consider uniformly elliptic and parabolic second-order equations with bounded zeroth-order and bounded VMO leading coefficients and possibly growing first-order coefficients. We look for solutions which are summable to the p-th power with respect to the usual Lebesgue measure along with their first and second-order derivatives with respect to the spatial variable.

in a domain Ω⊂R. Here a(x) is a given function and b(x) is a prescribed divergence free vector field, i.e., divb=0. The qualitative properties of solutions to elliptic and parabolic equations in divergence form with low regularity of the coefficients have been studied extensively, starting with the classical papers of De Giorgi [5], Nash [12], and Moser [11]. We are mostly interested in the imp...
متن کاملClassical solutions of drift – diffusion equations for semiconductor devices : the 2 d case
We regard drift–diffusion equations for semiconductor devices in Lebesgue spaces. To that end we reformulate the (generalized) van Roosbroeck system as an evolution equation for the potentials to the driving forces of the currents of electrons and holes. This evolution equation falls into a class of quasi-linear parabolic systems which allow unique, local in time solution in certain Lebesgue sp...
متن کاملOn Divergence Form Spdes with Growing
We consider divergence form uniformly parabolic SPDEs with bounded and measurable leading coefficients and possibly growing lower-order coefficients in the deterministic part of the equations. We look for solutions which are summable to the second power with respect to the usual Lebesgue measure along with their first derivatives with respect to the spatial variable.
